Luke Comeau is CEO of ElevaCare, which serves as a leader in mental health services across rural southwest Minnesota.
Luke joined ElevaCare just prior to the start of the Covid pandemic in February of 2020 and has helped lead the agency through many difficult seasons since then. From the pandemic, “the great resignation” and the sudden rise in inflation and operational labor costs, all periods resulted in significant changes in mental health service operational delivery.
Luke comes from a diverse professional background in education, severe and profound disabilities, mental health services and as a successful business owner. He spent four years at the Sanford School of Medicine in Sioux Falls as an autism specialist and training director, overseeing many aspects of autism-related services. In 2016, Comeau transitioned to an executive leadership role within the Avera Health network.
Luke resides outside the Sioux Falls region on a small acreage with his wife of 25 years and four kids. He enjoys spending time cycling, playing hockey and traveling with his family. Luke holds bachelor's and master's degrees from Morningside University in Sioux City, IA.
