Erika Batcheller is a seasoned communications executive with nearly 25 years of experience leading successful social impact initiatives in the public, private and nonprofit sectors. She has significant experience in health education, behavior change and social change campaigns. 

Erika has played a role in Face It TOGETHER’s success since its start. She was involved in our first focus groups and campaigns in Sioux Falls and served as our Chief Communications Officer for several years.

Prior to relocating to Sioux Falls, S.D., Erika served as vice president in the Washington, D.C., office of Fleishman-Hillard, a leading global communications firm. She managed public education programs for a wide range of award-winning cause initiatives, including the largest ever Federal media campaign to prevent and reduce illicit drug use among youth. Before that, Erika served as deputy press secretary and official spokesperson for First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton. She also served as deputy press secretary to U.S. Senator Kent Conrad and director of communications for a national rural advocacy organization.

Erika is active in her community, having served on nonprofit boards and as a volunteer for numerous causes.
