I started using meth at age 30 and lost everything that was important to me. I got arrested and had to face the consequences. I struggled trying to quit and felt alone, scared and hopeless.
I graduated from the drug court program in 2017. Through living in a sober home and 12-step meetings, I was shown a new way of living.
I have always enjoyed working with people. In the past, I have worked with both adults and children with disabilities. I was also an assistant general manager at a call center before joining the Face It TOGETHER team.
Criminal justice system, trauma, anxiety
I enjoy camping, fishing and playing volleyball. My family is very important to me. I have a teenage daughter and we are rebuilding our relationship. I enjoy helping others, showing kindness and making people smile.
