Jenny has a passion for supporting community initiatives with her time, talent and treasure. She understands from personal experience how addiction undermines families and robs people of their health, vitality and futures. She wants her community to have effective resources available for anyone negatively impacted by addiction.
Jenny is no stranger to volunteer work, having spent countless hours investing in local homeschool groups, and later, her children’s classrooms in the public schools. She spent years as team manager for several local club soccer teams and recently served on the Lincoln High School Booster Club. She has run social media campaigns, recruited board members and served as a leader in various groups.
Jenny has built a successful career in real estate now that her four children are older. While her degree from UND was in elementary education, she believes that her multi-faceted job is sharpening skills across many disciplines, including finance, client relations, communication and problem-solving. Jenny considers herself a life-long learner and she knows how to throw herself behind causes in which she believes.
Jenny and husband, Neil, have four grown children whom they raised in Sioux Falls. They now live in Brandon, SD, a return to Jenny’s childhood hometown. In her spare time, Jenny enjoys reading, golfing, fishing and cooking. She is known as an avid DIY home renovator.
