Kevin Kirby, CEO/Co-Founder

Kevin Kirby is in long-term recovery from addiction and is an experienced board-level strategist in a wide array of settings with special interest and skill in strategic planning. He has extensive hands-on experience in finance, investments and senior management in both for-profit (private and public) and nonprofit sectors, including public/private collaborative ventures. He is also a philanthropist and seasoned fundraiser.
In 2003, Kirby founded Transitional Living Corporation (TLC), a nonprofit organization in Sioux Falls, SD, dedicated to advocating for and implementing the community’s 12-step program of recovery. In 2008, he founded Face It Together Sioux Falls—both to design and implement a local recovery-oriented system of care and to eliminate the psychological barriers keeping people from recovery. Today, in addition to being founding CEO of Face It Together, Kirby serves on the Board of TLC and as a director of Face It Together Sioux Falls. He previously served as a director of Faces and Voices of Recovery, one of the nation’s leading advocates for recovery.

Charles T. Day, COO/Co-Founder
Charles T. Day is a lawyer and CPA by training. Among other activities, he has enjoyed a successful career as a tax partner in one of the original Big 8 accounting firms; as senior finance executive in one of the nation’s most prominent regional integrated health systems; and as a start-up oriented entrepreneur with a variety of companies. In addition to serving on the board of a regional bank and its publicly held parent company, he is vice chairman of TLC and co-founder of Face It Together and Face It Together Sioux Falls. Charlie is also an experienced board-level strategist in a wide array of settings. While he is not a person in recovery, Day is strongly committed to supporting efforts that offer children the best possible futures and that help individuals realize their personal abilities and gifts.

Erika Batcheller, Communications
Erika is a seasoned public relations practitioner with 15 years of experience in the communications field. Strong track record leading successful initiatives in the private, public and non-profit sectors on the national and local level. A broad-based skill portfolio in communications and public relations, with special focus on strategic planning, campaign development, research, community and media relations, marketing and special events.A graduate of the University of Minnesota with a graduate degree from Georgetown, Erika's specialties include, social marketing, health communications, cause/non-profit communications, strategic planning.

Elizabeth Venrick, Executive Assistant/Administrator/Affiliate Coordinator

Elizabeth joined Face It TOGETHER in November of 2011 after earning a Bachelor's degree at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in News-Editorial/Journalism.
Prior to becoming a part of Face It TOGETHER, Elizabeth's work experience includes, Client Service Associate at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, working under the Venrick Goeman Group in Sioux Falls from July 2011 to November 2011.
All throughout college, Elizabeth served as the Secondary Assistant for the Nebraska Football program; serving as an administrative assistant in recruting, operations and football events/games. She also hosted football recruits and their families on game days.
Elizabeth's college internships included living in Washgington D.C., working on the Hill as Senator Barack Obama's assistant's assistant - monitoring and screening callers and visitors. Assisting in coordinating the Senator's events and public relations during the Senator's run for the President of the United State during the summer of 2008. Elizabeth also worked as an intern for the Minnesota Vikings, Operations Department in the summer of 2010 - setting up/taking down training camp, organized player/team check-in and check-out and ran the VIP tent during team practices.
